Bridges, water and deformations
Finally a sunny day! The opportunity to take out the boxes to chase the photon and take a few photos. There were some failures but also some good surprises.
Let's start with the good surprise of the day, an underexposed photo but made up for by a ghostly effect that I appreciate.
Church of Marly-Gomont
First one side of the Monceau sur Oise pier bridge, 24x30 cm plan:
And the other side, panoramic 140° 12x30 cm:
Deformations (anamorphics)
Water and bridges
To understand and get to grips with 9x24 cm anamorphics, two tests:
For the first one I placed the box horizontally on the ground 15 cm from the car wheel:
For the second I simply placed the box vertically on the floor of the entrance to the house:
To say that I understood everything would be pretentious, but I am starting to have an idea of what it is possible to get from this type of device and that excites my curiosity.
Among the failures, mainly underexposed photos but this type of expedition allows you to identify spots to return to. In the meantime, since the rain is still in the forecast why not build a 140° ultra wide angle, for 18x24 and 24x30 paper?
That's what I did, following the next episode, until then be well and chase away the wild photon ;-)
